We aim to make your first visit to Praxis Podiatry as welcoming and helpful as possible. To enable us to make the best possible treatment plan for you, there are some things you should do to prepare for your first appointment with us:
- Please fill out the new patient form that should be emailed to you with your booking. This form will help us identify what your presenting health concern is and enable us to give you the best possible advice during and after your appointment.
- Please bring with you any imaging, GP referrals, enhanced primary healthcare forms or medical history relating to your visit.
- Bringing relevant footwear – running, walking, work shoes can help in determining their suitability and give clues about your presenting concern
- Wear comfortable clothing, it may be useful to have shorts in order to assess the lower limb properly
- Ensure you have your Medicare card, pensioner card (if applicable) or your private health insurance card with you. If you are concerned about how much your health insurer may cover, we recommend speaking to them directly as all health funds vary.
